Stockholm on 24 August 2023 - Biokraft passed a major milestone today when the newly built liquefaction plant, connected to our biogas plant in Södertörn, delivered its first batch of bio-LNG. The shipment consisted of 34 tons of bio-LNG to be used by trucks in northern Europe. A filled container holds 17 tons of bio-LNG which is enough for fossil-free driving with a fully loaded long-haul truck for approximately 50,000 kilometers.

OMV Petrom, the largest integrated energy company in Southeast Europe, announces the signing of a financing contract through the National Plan for Recovery and Resilience for the construction of a hydrogen production capacity by water electrolysis at the Petrobrazi refinery.
